Jane Hughes (guest blogger for Seeing Double) Passed Away on Saturday.

For those of you who don’t already know, there won’t be any Seeing Double updates for a couple of weeks. My mother, Jane, passed away on Saturday, so naturally I’m taking some time off work to mourn and to spend time with my remaining family. I hope to get back to posting blog articles and editing The Poetry of Autism by early to mid November. This message will be shared on the Seeing Double mailing list and face book page.

Jane was passionate about autism awareness, and continued to contribute to Seeing Double right until the last week of her life, despite her declining health. You can read her last article “Would My Daughter Have Benefited From An Earlier Diagnosis of Autism?” and others like it on the Seeing Double blog. I’m sure she will be remembered for many years.
